EVIL -vs- OUR GOD

2014 - Suddenly, without warning God called me to Africa specifically, Mozambique. Three days prior to my scheduled departure, I received an email from Iris Ministries that my trip was canceled and countrywide visas had been revoked by the government. Heide Baker of Iris Ministries was evacuating all missionaries from the country due to riots and violence that had erupted throughout the country the week prior.
Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”
“Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive...”
That same night the Lord said to him,Tear down your father’s altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it. Then build a proper kind of altar to the Lord your God on the top of this height.
In the morning the people of the town got up, there was Baal’s altar, demolished, with the Asherah pole beside it cut down and the second bull sacrificed on the newly built altar!
They asked each other, “Who did this?” When they carefully investigated, they were told, “Gideon son of Joash did it.” The people of the town demanded of Joash, “Bring out your son. He must die, because he has broken down Baal’s altar and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.”
But Joash replied to the hostile crowd around him, “Are you going to plead Baal’s cause? Are you trying to save him? Whoever fights for him shall be put to death by morning! If Baal really is a god, he can defend himself when someone breaks down his altar..”
(The people were full of fear and satans anger stirred them to seek murder, but Gideon was obedient to God! Just as He had accomplished through David with a single stone killing satans giant; God used Gideon to remove and destroy false alter to Baal.These were the defining moments for the people; who (God) or what would they serve?!
Joash saw that Gideon had submitted to Gods command destroying the alter to Baal and building a alter to the One True God. Joash now stood at a time of decision. Gideon's obedience to God paved a way for Joash and the people to choose to repent and follow God, opening the doors for Israel's deliverance.)
Now all the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples (armies) joined forces and crossed over the Jordan and camped in the Valley of Jezreel...The Lord said to Gideon, “With the (few) three hundred men that lapped up the water I will save you and give the (all the enemies armies) Midianites into your hands. Let all the others go home.” So Gideon sent the rest of the Israelites home, but kept the three hundred, During that night the Lord said to Gideon, “Get up, go down against the camp (wage war against all the armies,) because I am going to give it into your hands. If you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah and listen to what they are saying. Afterward, you will be encouraged to attack the camp.” So he and Purah his servant went down to the outposts of the camp. Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.” His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.” When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped.
He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.” Judges 6:11-15, 25-26, 28-31 7:7-16
Only God can make a way where there is absolutely NO WAY! God was telling me to get-up to go. He continued to press me; do not waver, but stand and be strong. That same day, I called my travel agent and immediately Lord changed my arrival destination to the capital city of Maputo. Not knowing if my Mozambican visa would be valid, I departed on schedule. Lord answered my fleece.
Puzzled by my arrival at the Maputo Airport, I was interviewed by the military police, but I was allowed to stay. God had now answered both of my fleeces! I arrived at the Iris orphanage in Zimpeto and again was greeted with query. Within hours I met Pastor Nico. Nico invited me to minister in the in the streets of Maputo, in the baccaria (garbage dump,) and in the bush. Over the years, Nico became a dear friend and teacher to Family of God Ministries.
The true wars that Family of God wages against are spiritual principalities that manifest evil in the land. Family of God Ministries is warring against these evil schemes and plans of satan. God is continually faithful; He strengthens us day and night as He is the Mightiest Warrior; He alone is the One True God. War wages in the heavens, so as it is in the heavenlies, so it is on earth!
During the past 8 years I have not wavered in my dedication nor my obedience to God claiming the Nation of Mozambique for God's Astounding Glory! I have sacrificed and endured much witnessing first hand many vile and evil ways satan tries to thwart Gods plans. With God as my head, I lead Family of God's little team forward tearing down each false altar built for baal. We wage war against satans armies that have merged and come together. Altars are a place of sacrifices, Baal demands human sacrifice as well as spiritual sacrifice. This is the way satan forms his armies of corruption, deep poverty, slavery, terror, witchcraft, death and more. War is at hand, but I stand beside Jesus and claim the victory!

Family of God Ministries and Team has lost many precious ones around us. Some run in fear, some are being devoured by lies of hundreds of years of bondage to other gods, but many more have been taken against their will.
Storms come against us, some physical yes, mighty powerful storms (Cyclone Ida 2019, Cyclone Kenneth 2019, Cyclone Ana January 2022 etc.) with their deep destruction and devastation. A waste land of disease, poverty, starvation, and hopelessness for many thousands left in their wakes.
Thousands girls continue being given and sold into bondage becoming "child brides." Sold into slavery fueled by desperate need, provoked by depths of poverty and starvation into marriages of abuse, cruelty and even death. Statistics only give part of the story; 1 out of 3. Most girls are younger than 15, some as young as 7 or 8 years old. Their monetary worth is around $100 US dollars. A young girl can hold a broom and sweep before the age of 2. The value of any girl or young woman is in physical labor and ability to serve. She will not learn to read or write, she will not have opportunity of kindness or love, she is slave, used for sex; a servant and property. If this girl survives to adulthood her earthly identity is lost forever.
The second, 1 out of 3 young girls that is not sold into marriage has been repeatedly beaten since before she could walk. Her future is one of abuse, abduction being forcibly kidnapped, rape or violation through incest by brothers, uncles, fathers. These precious young ones become pregnant and are then cast out like garbage with no place to go. With no access to prenatal or medical care many of the babies and young mothers simply do not survive.

Next, are "traditional Healers" (witch doctors.) The witch doctor sends out callings for mutilations and murders. He/She will use young mens and womens bodily organs and sexual organs to strengthen their spells.The one that cannot find escape is mutilated, dismembered and killed by hand utilizing machetes, knives and axes. Through hundreds of years using fear and murder these witch doctors ("traditional healers") have embedded themselves into within the land further spreading the devils poison.
Without other options, people are forced to seek out what is seen as "traditional medicine" or suffer in silence with out hope.
Mozambique is top, not only in Africa, but in the WORLD of UNDERDEVELOPED Nations.
2017 - An expansive natural gas deposit was discovered off the coast of Mozambique about 2,000km (Tcf) of proven natural gas reserves. This deposit ranks 3rd in Africa and holds a ranking 14th in the world. The discovery of massive potential wealth is rapidly seeking to bring death and complete destruction, burning and devouring everything and everyone in its path!
This discovery has served as fuel to further the depths of Governmental Corruption which is used to deepen the violence brought by evil terror groups. Global oil and power companies that came seeking the vast revenues that could be obtained have since left, abandoning their multi-million dollar gas removal infrastructure development projects, removing all personnel and investments. They have been defeated by violence and terror.
Third, 1 out of 3 - Hundreds and even thousands of young women and girls have been taken by the Islamic terror groups being horrendously enslaved, raped, mutilated or murdered. Soldiers and police of the corrupt governments army that are to protect commit equally heinous acts against these same young ones.
Hundreds and thousands of our young men and boys, as young a 5, are being kidnapped and forced to become child soldiers. If they refuse they are cut down like an animal to slaughter, beheaded or worse. With no food to eat, no hope of a job or anything more than mere existence, what is his alternative?
Weekly in our area a child, teen or young adult goes missing, is mutilated or found dead. There are many, many more all across the country! Last month a neighbor we know in his hopelessness threw his 2 year old daughter against the wall killing her. More than a million villagers and bush people have tried to evacuate, but there is no place of refuge. The terrorists and armies have closed all the boarders. These people are refugees within their own country. With no place of refuge on earth, Jesus is the only hope of salvation.
TODAY Mozambique continues to be the top of the most underdeveloped, poverty stricken, corrupted nations in the WORLD!
Family of God Ministries is located in the bush midway between this expansive natural gas area and the capital city of Maputo. I am fully aware this is a strategic placement by the hand of God for His plan and purposes. These armies of satan have now bound together. "Now all the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples (ARMIES) joined forces and crossed over the Jordan and camped in the Valley of Jezreel"
In a Nations deep anguished cry God raised Gideon. He was thought to be the least of the least, How could he defeat all the armies with only his little army of rough riders? As Gideon, I am seen by many to be the least of the least, a woman hidden, with no influence and without financial resources. However, just as Gideon, I and Family of God Ministries have been raised up for war. As we have been obedient and bow down in worship God has promised “Get up, go down against the camp, because I am going to give it into your hands." I am simply one, but I am the daughter of the Almighty God! There is none greater than He! Today, Family of God Ministries with God's Rough Riding Disciples stand unwavering in the gap, to wage war against every scheme and plan of satan!!
The innocent people of Mozambique are crying out they are in desperate need of God. Family of God Ministries cries out against this evil darkness, pushing forward against all the odds as we fight and wage war for each precious young man and woman, boy and girl, each baby and broken family. With Jesus as our commander we are fighting along side our local bush communities and villages against all the evil of satans armies and his corrupt government.
Many times I am overwhelmed and feel hopeless. Am I standing alone in this war? I, as a child of God need your prayers, your love and encouragement. Ask for your pastors and churches to pray in power and faith. “Whenever two or more are gathered together in my name, there am I in their midst” (Matthew 18:20)
O soul are you weary and troubled No light in the darkness you see There's light for a look at the Savior And life more abundant and free
Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in his wonderful face And the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of his glory and grace
Today, Lord Jesus is saying "Tear down your father’s altar to Baal (god of demons, storms and war). Then build a proper kind of altar to the Lord your God on the top of this height."
